Bonnaroo Ends On Another Successful Note

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival closes out its ninth year, adding one more successful run to the books.

Festivalgoers got to experience four days of non stop music and art in the blistering sun in the farmlands of Manchester, Tennessee.  This year’s festival organizers utilized the Internet to bring the experience of Bonnaroo into the homes of music lovers everywhere.  Web coverage included streaming live video via the Bonnaroo YouTube channel, NPR audio webcasting and live performance broadcasts on Fuse TV.

Ashley Capps, co-founder of the festival, talks about the decision to use alternative methods of communication, “We are exploring all sorts of opportunities to reach out to fans not simply during the weekend of the festival, but all year long to communicate what the Bonnaroo experience is all about… [while] not compromising the Bonnaroo experience through these opportunities is very important.”  (Read More…)

Bonnaroo Daily Schedule: Locked & Loaded

The only thing more complicated than the 2010 Bonnaroo daily performance schedule is probably the blueprints to the NASA space shuttle! But the Bonnaroo powers that be, with bigger brains than most, have managed to pull off this logistical labyrinth, and have now posted the complete schedule – including dates, stages, and show times– on their website. I have trouble just organizing my closet…

Here are some of the highlights, and no, the 2am time slots are not a misprint! This party goes on all night, every night!

Thursday, June 10th:

Blitzen Trapper at 10:15pm: The Other Tent

Wale at Midnight: This Tent
